We’re in the heart of riding season, with lots of great events coming up. If you haven’t joined a club yet, we hope that you’ll consider joining the Scrub Oak Scramblers. We’ve been told that our trails are some of the best around, and our active membership allows for a great mix of well attended events. For more information on joining, click on “Join our Club” in the navigation bar. If you enjoy our trails, consider donating to our groomer fund by using the donate button on our site or by dropping a contribution in the groomer bucket at our Saturday open house. Each Saturday from 11-4 we have great food and company in our heated clubhouse. Be sure to join us (and email Fred and Donna if you'd like to help out)
One of our best events of the year is approaching fast – the Winter Carnival on February 20th 2010 at the Freedom Airstrip. Demo rides, Poker run, radar run (see how fast your sled REALLY is), food, and drink. Click HERE for more information.

We held our Snowmobile Safety Class recently, which was very well attended (completely full, actually!) The new riders were shown proper riding techniques, as well as snowmobile safety tips which will make their time out on the trails both more enjoyable and safer. Thanks to the instructors and attendees alike! See more photos in our photo gallery.

BRUSH CUTTER FUNDRAISER
We would like to purchase a brush cutter to mount on the drag to maintain the width of our trails. Until snow flies, it does not fall within the budget. We are starting a donation fundraiser in order that we can purchase this equipment. Our target goal is $2200.00. We have already recieved a very generous donation of $750.00 to get us started! Thank you!! This is a great start towards our goal. Whether you write a check or excersise the donate button above, please earmark your donation to "brush cutter". Thank you for your help. SOSSC Fundraiser update; Approx. $1100.00 raised so far, thank you for your donations!
We value your input, so please email us at sosclub@sossc.com with your comments. If you are happy with our trails and with our site, and would like to help us keep trails in tip-top condition, please use the "donate" button to give to our groomer fund. Enjoy the site.
