Hello to all our chamber members out there in Tamworth, Sandwich, Ossipee, Effingham, Freedom, and Madison:
 
We need your help! The upcoming SnoCross/Ossipee Mountain Blizzard Festival on Feb. 23 and 24 is a huge event, and we need a lot of volunteers to make it successful.

Last year, the event was so successful, all the local restaurants were busy all weekend feeding people and local hotels, motels and inns were filled to capacity with people staying overnight (all the way to Moultonborough)! And by people having good experiences at local restaurants and inns, it helps everyone's business; if those people who came to West Ossipee to see snowmobiles flying through the air and racing around the track had such a great time, they may want to come back again this year or even at another time of the year, buy or rent a house, and buy from local stores....and the list goes on.
 
The chamber's goal is to help the local economy and local businesses, and now we need your help.
 
We need people to help...
   a.. sell event tickets
   b.. helping with pit pass sales
   c.. staff our information booth
   d.. park cars
   e.. sell raffle tickets
   f.. distribute books and posters around the area
   g.. set up the venue ahead of time (Friday)
   h.. clean up after the event (Monday)
   i.. and maybe more!
Volunteers who help out during their shift will get a chance to see  the races during the other part of their shift on that day for free! Bring your friends, make it fun day out!
 
 And thank you to all those who have already signed up! Your help is greatly appreciated.

 everyone up to speed.
