Great Riding = Trail is groomed and packed with adequate snow cover, and very few bumps if any.
Very Good = Trail is groomed and packed with adequate snow cover, with an occasional bump and/or icy corner.
Good = Trail is groomed or packed with moderate snow cover, a rock or two, some bumps, or icy corners.
Fair = Trail is either not groomed or only packed, marginal snow cover at best, very bumpy and/or washouts and bare spots.
Poor = Trail is barely passable, not groomed, insufficient snow cover or extremely bumpy with washouts and bare spots.
Ungroomed = Trail is open but natural conditions exist. Ride with caution and at your own risk.
